Who Is The Bride's Secretary?
My name is Belinda and The Bride's Secretary was started because of my love for people, my love for weddings, and my love for being creative with my laptop! Taking a couple's vision for their wedding invitation suites and seeing it all the way through to the finished product is one of the best parts of what I do.
Not only that, but to be able to take some stress off the bride and groom by handling the unexpected tasks that come up along the way — that can be even more rewarding. I also don't believe that custom wedding invitations should break the bank and so I gladly pass on the finished products at no additional markup. All of that just fills me up!
On a personal note, I'm a wife and mother and - best of all - a grandmother. I've lived on three continents and became a naturalized US citizen after marrying my DH. We transplanted to central Wisconsin in 2014 after 20+ years in Yakima, WA. Although I don't like the cold weather here (my DH promises we can retire to San Antonio when the time is right), this kind and friendly community warms my heart even in the middle of frigid January temps. And, after many years of being actively involved in theater (thus the backdrop for several of my blog posts), being within striking distance of the rich Chicago theater scene is a bonus!
